1. What is A Day of Champions conference?

A Day of Champions is a seminar-format conference is designed to inspire, educate and elevate student athletes (including grades 7-12). Each conference brings together thousands of student athletes, coaches, parents, teachers and administrators from around each state to raise the level of play in sport and develop the character of each individual participant.

At this conference you will learn from some of the world’s best competitors as they share the tips, techniques and secrets that got them to the top. Our main goal at A Day of Champions is to give you the elite tools that we have learned as Olympians, Paralympians and world-class level athletes and professionals to help you Elevate Your Game.

No matter which sport(s) they play, attendees will learn world-class principles to help them dominate their level of performance through refining their skills in sports psychology, high-performance nutrition, winning through adversity, soaring through goal-setting, developing their leadership and teamwork capacity, and by learning how to unleash the champion within through understanding the true meaning of sportsmanship.

2. Where and When is the 2017 Utah Conference?

The conference will be held at the Cottonwood High School auditorium (5715 South 1300 East, Murray, UT 84121) on October 7, 2017 from 9a-3:15pm with a 1-hour lunch break in between (lunch is on your own). Attendees are requested to be in their seats by 8:45am for production purposes.

3. Is there a Conference Dresscode?

There is no formal dresscode for the event; however, participants are encouraged to follow public school dress policies or wear their team uniforms or school colors to promote unity with their teammates. That being said, all conference attendees are required to maintain a high level of respect for players and participants from all schools. Any accounts of bullying will not be tolerated and instigators will be removed from the premises immediately. 

4. Do I have to be a Public School Athlete to Attend?

No. If you are attending school (public, private or charter) in grades 7-12 and play on a team (whether public, competitive or recreationally) or within another organization, you are invited to attend.

Parents, coaches, teachers and administrators are also invited to attend. 

5. How Do I register?

You can register online using this handy registration portal at a discounted rate until September 1, 2017. Rates will go up after that date. 

6. Do I Have to Pay to Park On-site?

Parking is free for this event. 

7. Can I Record the Talks? 

No, recording of A Day of Champions conference is strictly prohibited. Participants are encouraged to bring notebooks in which to take notes during our speakers' presentations. However, photos may be taken throughout the event and in the VIP Athlete Experience. 

8. What About the Lunch Hour?

Our lunch hour will provide participants sufficient time to purchase food at one of the food trucks that we have invited (out in the parking lot) or you can dine at one of the restaurants nearby or you bring lunch to be eaten on-site. 

9.What Sports Will This Conference Benefit?

The truest answer is that this conference will benefit any high school athlete who plays any sport(s), but here is a partial list to give you an idea:
