Gretchen Jensen Miss USA

In 1989, Gretchen Polhemus Jensen made worldwide history, under the direction of the famous GUYREX, when she became the 5th consecutive Miss Texas to win the title of Miss USA. She later went on to compete in the Miss Universe Pageant, where she finished 2nd.

After her year as Miss USA, she went to work for ESPN Television, as Commentator.

She covered such events as Offshore Power Boat Racing, Celebrities in Sports, The International Special Olympics, The Nationals Finals Rodeo from Las Vegas, "America's Horse," Equistrian Sports, Pro/Am Beach Volleyball and many others.

In addition to her career with ESPN, Gretchen went on to report for ABC. She currently works as a TV Host for the ABC show, Utah Works, and is a former host of Good Things Utah. She has also continued her career as a Professional Model. Shape Magazine, November 2013 issue, featured her and her regime regarding fitness. Also, More Magazine listed her as one of the Nation's top models over 35. She has work in places such as, England, Scotland, Iceland, Nova Scotia, Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Canada, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and Dallas. She also appeared in the remake movie of the American favorite TV series, Bonanza.

She has represented such companies as, Minolta Cameras, Subaru, Pepsi, Miller Lite, JC Penney, Proctor and Gamble and many more. She currently is the National Spokesperson for Vincent Surgical Arts, with a National Commercial running, and The Vein Institute of Utah, with a local commercial airing.

Gretchen is passionate for her message that she enjoys sharing as a Corporate Speaker, A Million to One Odds, which talks about beating The Wallstreet Journal's odds of a million to one, that she would win the Miss USA title. After performing several USO tours and Concerts over the world, she has a true desire to honor our Men and Women who serve our Country in our Military Branches.

She is very involved with several community and charity events. Gretchen is a single Mother of 5 children and considers that to be her most favorite thing about her life.
